"Hi...why don't you two head to the kitchen and catch up a bit? I'll go and
'amuse' Sloan-he seems to have some sort of bee in his bonnet..." Kristen
offered with a wry smile.
"Thanks," Julia gave her a grateful smile and looped her arm through
Philip's to guide him that way "And welcome home.. I'm sure we'll get a
chance to introduce ourselves sometime tonight and don't believe everything
Sloan tells you."
It was said humorously and she waved back at the woman before they hit
kitchen and the two inside.
"Oh, hello." Julia hesitated for a moment before looking at the older woman
and, her cheeks pinkening a little, repeated Derek's message "Derek said
he'd be down in just a little while..."
"Oh, please," Barbara invited them both "Join us. We're just sharing rumors
over some coffee."
Jonathan got up and pulled out a chair for Julia before going to the
refrigerator and bringing out a juice for her to which she nodded thanks as
she sat down, Philip being offered the one next to her.
