Sam rode back in silence for the most part.  However, when they finally
arrived at the ferry she spoke again.  "Why don't they want us to go home?"

"Nothing bad," Rose answered, although she didn't know the specifics "But
usually when Julia or the others want someone to spend the night it's to
make sure they're going to be okay.  I'd say they want to make sure your
friend is the case here since she's down for the count and you're up."
