Marissa reached the house a few minutes later, the bike parked outside.
 
She entered by way of the front door and looked around, only to raise an eyebrow.
 
The place was clean, as if nothing had happened in there at all.
 
And surprisingly, she didn't care, or just dismissed it as someone had obviously cleaned it up for her for when they came back, as she tossed off her jacket and half fell onto the couch, covering her eyes with her forearm.
 
Marissa... a voice seemed to whisper, just as her eyes closed and she fell asleep.
The woman watched her sleep, smiling to herself.  The girl was more powerful than she first thought.  She had seen everything that had happened here, and the fact that her niece had made it back and in one piece..?
 
Well that was even better.
