Alex blinked, looked around to make sure all the reports Julia wanted were
done and downloaded onto disks and in a physical file, picked them up and
rushed out of the Control Room, half pulling Kristin with her.
"Dress, things Julia will need and a present!" she was already listing
things off she was sure her friend wouldn't have considered for a wedding
"Grab your credit card, we leave now! Meet me at the door."
With that she ran by her room and put the files in a safe place, grabbed her
bag and card and headed downstairs.
"You'll need these." Jonathan already had his car keys out and dangling from
his fingers as he passed Alex in the hallway "Nick will be back shortly. He
had to run after something."
"You're a doll." Alex told him, skipping down the stairs.
Kristin laughed and ran out of the control room with Alex. She headed
upstairs, and after a quick glance in the mirror, shuddered. "Geez, Adams,
you NEED a shower." But, since she had to get back downstairs before Alex
left without her, and she REALLY didn't have anything prepared for a
wedding, she contented herself with throwing on some clean clothes,
splashing water on her face, grabbed her credit cards, and twisted her hair
into a ponytail on her way back down the stairs.
