Rachel moved to the refrigerator and got the pitcher of juice, then to the cabinet for a couple of glasses before setting them on the counter and filling them halfway.

Julia picked up the other glass and looked at the rim of it before taking a sip and looking at the other woman.

"I'm sorry -" they both said at the same time, ending up with crooked grins from each.

"I should have never accused you of the things I did." Rachel apologized "I don't even have a good enough reason to have done it..."

Julia's lips curved in a new understanding "I'm not so sure I wouldn't have done the same thing in your place."

Rachel was taking another drink of her juice and looked at her for a moment, then noticed Julia's hand on her stomach.. the thoughtful look in the woman's eyes.. and blinked "You're..."

Julia looked up and, a light blush rising on her cheeks, nodded.

Rachel put her glass down, a smile spreading across her face and hugged her without thinking, only to laugh with embarrassment at her excitement "I'm sorry.. it's just.. oh wow.. and Derek knows?"

"Yeah, he knows." Julia chuckled "Which brings me to something else too."

"Oh my god.. it's twins." Rachel guessed, sitting on the nearest stool in almost shock.

"No no no," Julia couldn't help but laugh as she set the record straight "Not twins.. not this time anyway.  But there is a wedding..."

The squeal Rachel erupted with could be heard from the other room and Julia could only chuckle at her reaction.
