The voice was so soft, Reese dismissed it as her mind playing tricks on her but she headed toward the door and half pulled it open before seeing some man at it, turned toward ... her father?   Reese couldn't even recall what happened next, but most likely wouldn't want to be told about it either.   Her feverish gaze looked at the guy right before they rolled up into their sockets and she passed out, falling into his arms with a half mumbled 'you're kind of cute'.   Nick turned as the door opened, just barely catching her after her half mumbled observation of his looks and picking her up to carry in his arms.   He looked at Milo and asked in a tone that was obviously half teasing and an effort to calm the man down "This is your kid? Must take after her mother in looks.  And she thinks I'm cute."   The last word was drawled as he had a natural habit of doing but he moved toward the car and called out to the woman in it "See? That wasn't so hard.  Let's get her back to the house and get a nurse to look at her."   He'd get someone to come pick up his bike with explicit instruction not to go into the house.   As soon as he had the woman in the car and in the back with Sam he got in and started the engine, calling out to Milo "Meet you there."
