Nick saw Julia and Derek following and entered the restaurant with Derek's mother on his arm, "So what do you say, Ms. R.  Up for a game?"   They got to the maiter d's podium and when asked under who's name, he gave the information.  Moments later they were being led to the more private part of the restaurant.   Nick led Barbara to a chair and held it out for her.
