Still slightly annoyed at the time it took for
people in front of her to file out, Amber finally
managed to step off the plane. Taking a deep breath
and a much needed stretch, she headed up the ramp
towards the airport terminal.
"This is it!" she thought. In spite of herself, she
was excited. She was still nervous about living with
completely new people, but Kristin was there. They
had tried to stay in contact when she had left for San
Fransisco, but that was hard to do, with busy
schedules and the time difference, among other things.
Amber was finally at the entrance to the terminal.
She began to look around for a telephone - she had
been told to call Kristin once her plane got in. She
spotted one over by a rest area and headed for it.
