Amber, slightly startled, turned to face Kristin. A
smile slowly spread accross Amber's face, and she
jumped up to face Kristin, taking off her earphones in
the process.
"Hey!" she said, "it's been awhile, huh?"
Smiling, Kristin gave Amber a small hug. It was good to see her.
"Yeah, it has been quite some time." she knew it was mostly her fault;
whenever she'd left the Boston House, something always came up and she
didn't stay quite as in touch as she should have. Even though Amber
had never really opened up completely, Kristin had always felt somewhat
close to her; maybe it was because they were both private people, and
maybe because they were closer in age than anyone else at the House.
"I don't want to rush you, but have you got all your stuff? Philip's
waiting with the car; I bet you'd like some 'real' food after that
airplane stuff..." Kristin smiled again. "And don't worry, we don't
normally dress this formally," she said touching her dress.
