"Until tomorrow morning....we can always come back though," Derek assured
her. "In fact if the council doesn't leave we may want to stay here until
it's all resolved. Just to get away from it."
Julia smiled and closed her eyes, laying her head against his heart and
giving him a slow hug. She hated the problems that were sure to be brought
up by the Council and that it would involve him... and she didn't want to
spoil today, even though a tiny part of her wondered if she hadn't just
gotten him into even more trouble by agreeing to get married the way they
had, the day before the 'trial' so to speak even though the actual procedure
could last a few days.
But she couldn't help but think of the way today felt either.. So.... right.
And with the right person.
"I love you." she murmured.
