Alex pulled up to the House moments later, looking at Philip before looking at the gate to see if the others were close behind.  Sure enough, there came Nick.  Now all they needed was to see Milo driving up.   Philip got out of the car and tried to keep from groaning.  It was as if he had been out in the soccer field with the bruises he knew he had, much less the scrapes probably on his face now.  He held the door open for Alex to enter and looked back to see if Milo were coming.  Then, seeing his car and knowing the man would want to see to his daughter as soon as possible, Philip entered the house but left the front door open.
