with Rachel, the London Precept having passed them a moment ago. The
two
went on to the Tribunal and Philip turned back to Kristin "Well, all
right,
the visit to check on Rachel will have te wait. Ice."
He looked at Amber and smiled crookedly "Donnae worry. Things are
goin'
better than we expected."
"Good." Kristin said emphatically to Philip's pronouncement. She'd
been afraid-and though they were still a long way from having the trial
over, at least they seemed to be off to a strong start. She just hoped
they could keep it up.
"If you change your mind, Amber, and want some company, you know
where I'll be," she smiled at Amber, still somewhat unsure if the girl
actually did want to be alone.
"Let's get you some ice," Kristin regarded Philip's already swollen
lip.
