Derek gave her a reassuring smile and nodded.  "I'm feeling much better

Taking her hand, he led her out into the hall and to the room where the
shouts had originated from, just in time to hear the lastest part of Nick
tirade.  Derek entered teh room and moved to stand beside his young friend.
He rested his free hand on Nick's shoulder.  "That's enough Nick," he said
firmly.
