Derek stood and followed her out of the room. He could do what he needed to
in the control room. Once there, he picked up the house phone and called
down to Jonathan.
Making a slight face, he said, "could you please send someone out to get
Julia a chili dog." It was such a Nick-like thing to eat, but if that's
what she wanted.
Julia had been deep in thought but looked up when Derek had left his office,
quietly walking with him as they made it to the Control Room, only to smile
and softly kiss his cheek when she realized what he was calling for. It
was, at least to her, touching that he remembered and was doing something
about it, in the middle of the trouble brewing with Boston and their
'debating'.
She ran her thumb over where she had kissed him and met his gaze before
another smile curved her lips and she moved to sit behind the main computer
console and keyboard.
It wasn't long before she had pulled up and records, articles and
co-workers' reports that had anything to do with similar activities -- and
like the hack she was performing now, had a constant loop for someone to
follow if they ever found the trace that she had been in their system.
"Some people really need an upgrade in their systems." Julia commented as
she transferred and started to print out that information. The similarities
weren't in a House though... but it had been a case the Boston House had
been working on many years ago.
She nodded at the information being printed out and started in on the Boston
House computer system....
