Amber followed quietly, her stomach beginning to
tighten. She didn't know if she was so nervous
because she would have to face Derek again or because
getting clearance made it more official that this was
where she lived now. But she was somewhat eager to
prove that she could still pull her weight, despite
her other obligations as a student.
