Derek turned and looked at her, anger and hurt in his eyes. "How could you
do such a thing," he asked. "Why would you do this? If you're angry with
me, you shouldn't be taking it out on Julia and my baby." Of course this
hurt him personally to the core worse than anything she could have done to
him, but he wasn't about to tell her that.
"Baby?" Megan asked, something flashing in her gaze before she raised her
chin. He was lost and there was no turning back now.
Suddenly and taking them by surprise, Megan grabbed the gun from Frank's
holster and pointed it at Derek, gaze blazing "I told her-why can't you stay
with me? You don't love her, you love ME!"
She pulled back the hammer.
