"Why don't we make this to go and add a BLT to Amber's and Kristin's orders." Julia suggested none to subtly to the older of the two in a 'don't think we missed the fact she's not the only one eating rabbit food' before looking at Philip "And we can all hang out in the kitchen until we decide to go our own ways."
She wanted a couple of words with her friend too, she thought, smiling inwardly as she absently traced her thumb along Derek's hand and looking at the three across from her. Derek nodded his agreement to this, though he had no intention of letting that kid out of his sight, until he seen her eat. "Kristin, Philip and Nick have to get up early to head out to Boston," he added. Too much had happened tonight for them to leave right away. Nick was in no shape to fly at the moment. Kristin smiled at Julia's adding a sandwich to her order; the baby wasn't even born yet, but Julia was going to make an excellent mother-she was practicing already. Kristin figured she wouldn't argue--she was bound to get hungry later anyway. Mentally reviewing the things they'd need to take to Boston, Kristin reluctantly agreed Derek was right. As much as she wanted to get going, morning was the earliest they could leave. Unconciously leaning close to Philip, she kept her voice low enough for him alone. "We're going to need a good night's sleep to get in that chopper with Nick-I've seen him behind the wheel of his car." she smiled, hoping to get Philip to crack a grin too. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
