Nina grinned at Kristin. "You have no idea how
good it is to see you. And I see you've brought
backup," she said, motioning to Nick and Philip.
"Well come on, let's get inside," she said, motioning
eveyrone towards the house before noticing Jane
quickly heading towards them.
She'd been about to reply to Nina when she heard Jane's voice.
Turning, she smiled.
"Kristin, what has made you decided to grace us
with your presence?" Jane said, heading towards them,
giving the best smile she could.
"Hi Jane...well, I missed you guys. Actually, I came to pick get
Amber's records; it was just lucky timing that Philip and Nick could
join me." Kristin didn't feel guilty; after all, it was the truth...in
a roundabout sort of way.
