Philip finished with his call and hung up, leaving the room and looking around curiously.   Then, figuring the others must have been shown to their rooms he went upstairs, hoping he'd come across one of them.   He stopped when he heard voices and realized it was Kristin and Jane, in the library.  Looking around he stepped back and, mentally asking forgiveness for the rude action he was about to do, slipped behind a coat of armour and listened.
