Bryce loaded his last piece of luggage into the
chopper and shouldered his camera bag. He felt kind
of guilty leaving smokey behind on this trip, but they
really didn't have the space to fit him into the
helicopter.

Although he didn't show it on the outside, he was a
nervous wreck about this whole ordeal. As weird as
the last few days had been, he'd be willing to endure
even more to make sure his dad was alright.

Soulchaser finally joined the group in the kitchen.

"All we have down there is decaff," Soulchaser said,
jokingly. "And it's cold too... that's why it's
Hell."

He had been mentally preparing himself for what lied
ahead. he had dealt with demons and damned souls
since the realm of Hell was created, but never had he
crossed paths with a fallen angel. He knew that they
would be harder to take out than cockroaches on
steroids.

He looked at Julia and Derek. "I'm using my own means
of travel for this trip," he said. "It's doubtfull
that they'll try and attack you during the flight, but
I'll be keeping a close watch just in case. "I'll
meet up with you when you land."

With that, Soulchaser ditched his physical form and
returned briefly to the pit. Perhaps there, he could
find some clues as to who was orchestrating the
attacks against the Rayne family.
