"Great." Nick said in his usual half sneering 'pleased' tone as he looked at the Soulchaser and then heading toward the cave "Keep up with us, Picture Man."
He wasn't sure what Julia had in mind but it was damn well better than doing nothing. And running in head first, even in his opinion, was damn stupid. "Considering I'm the one who knows the way to this place, I think I'd have to," Bryce said before continuing on up the trail. It wasn't much longer before they arrived at the mouth of the cave. Soulchaser stepped up to the entrance and looked around for any sign of a barrier or incantation. He found none. "It didn't expect us to find the place," Soulchaser said. A grin crept across his face. "This means that even though I can't sense the demon, it can't sense me, either. The incantation is double edged." Julia was unable to keep off of the fiend's radar. If she had come, they probably would have already been accosted. "Demons, incantations, barriers..." Bryce muttered as he pulled a flashlight out of his bag. "Last week I was doubting the existence of the supernatural, today I'm up to my friggin' neck in it." He looked over to Boyle. "The cave's bretty easy to navigate but theres a nice twelve foot drop about 2 yards from the entrance. There's also gonna be a lot of ice patches in there so watch your footing."
