Derek's face turned red at hearing this. "What I
would or would not do is irrelevant," he informed her.
"First of all because I am the Precept of this house
and secondly, because I am not, nor would I ever be
pregnant."

Julia's blue gaze snapped to his hazel one, her voice
low "Watch it buster. My being pregnant is what saved
our asses in the first place and if you're even going
to HINT at the possibility I would ever put our
daughter in danger you can damn well get back into
that chopper and go back to Canada to get a brain
transplant from someone that has some sense in them!"

Derek may have height to his advantage but, as per
usual, Julia still stood up to him and gave as good as
she got.

Both were outside and near the chopper, who's blades
had stopped moving by now.

The butler looked out a window beside the door and
decided it best to go clean part of the house. It was
going to be a loud one.
