>Derek shook his head. "I promised Julia we >wouldn't," he said. "Just get him home."
"Spoil my fun why don't you." Nick mock grumbled as he used his headset to contact the London House they were approaching. Moments later they were landing on the clearing behind it. Sloan was well aware of both of their antagonism but ignored it. Derek had always been stubborn about his grudges and held them longer than forever when it came to someone possibly endangering or knowing Julia was in danger. He could only hope the younger Precept would realize what he was saying was that he knew Derek would get rid of the seplicurs because he wanted to keep his wife and child safe, not that he was putting them in danger. "Thank you for not pushing me out." he said dryly as Nick landed the helicopter. "You're welcome." Nick said, not bothering to deny that it had been in his mind to do just that. "Don't call us, we'll call you and all that." "You're not stopping?" Sloan asked as he took off the headphones and moved toward the door. "Nope," Nick said, glancing at Derek and nodding once at him "He's got a kid to welcome." "Good luck." Sloan said, getting out and closing the doors. Nick lifted back up and headed out. "Hold on, boss. We'll get there in time." __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! Health - Feel better, live better http://health.yahoo.com
