He gently teased her, > hoping to try and bring her out of it "You're the > trained professional, I'm the Three Stooges addict." > The early morning sun crept into Kat's window warming the little girl's face and slowly waking her. She walked over and rubbed her eyes looking around her room at the spot the shadows from outside made on her walls. Her bed felt warm and cozy, but she was wide awake and it was hard to stay there when you were wide awake. Now if there were a tv in the room, that would be a different story, but there wasn't.
Kat slipped out of bed, holding Tuffy in her arms and started towards the door, but turned back towards the window. She stopped and stared out tinto the woods for a while. Since the sun was only barely up, the woods were still dark. As the little girl stared into them, she couldnt' help but wonder what happened to Miranda. She didn't really remember the last time she'd seen her friend. She knew that everyone thougth Miranda was bad, but...she had been her friend, and no matter what anyone said, she still didn't ahve any friends her own age. And the stuff Miranda knew was cool. Maybe....maybe...if she tried soem of it on her own, maybe they wouldn't get so mad. Kat turned away from the window and started towards the door, she'd have to think about that one for a little while. As she reached the stairs she heard voices downstairs. Now that was wierd. The girl padded down the stairs and peeked into the living room. "Hey, your up eearrllllly...."
