menacingly, then winked at Alex.
"Hey, watch where you stick that." Alex teased back, and waving to Rachel "Morning, meet you upstairs!"
And with that and a laugh, Alex actually picked up her pace to an almost skip and hurried up the stairs. She wanted to see the baby and see how the new family was adjusting to home life.
"Hurry up slowpoke!" she called back to Kristin before reaching the library.
