"Then we'll go," Derek said gently still holding his hand out to her.  He
felt sorry for this woman, but if the only way to get his wife home was to
send her back then that is what they had to to do.  With any luck they would
be able to figure something out on the way there.  He would stop by the
control room on the way out and see if anything came in yet and if it had go
through it on the way.  Maybe something would strike him.
