Hi Sam,

Node.js is only required for installing bower as instructed in bower.io page. 
After that, you need to user bower command to install Polymer (
http://www.polymer-project.org/docs/start/getting-the-code.html)  in your 
local drive. Then you install elements. So say, your directory structure 
becomes E:\Sam\Tutorial\Polymer\Codebase\bower_components.

Now go to 'polymer-animation' directory and run demo.html page. In all 
these bower_components folder, you need to run demo.html.
