Hey I was checking out the code. Is there any particular reason you are not using "domReady", instead using "ready" with the hack "// FIXME: hacky delay to fix init order...". Because I tried with domReady without hackyDelay function and it is working. This is my first time using polymer, so forgive me if I am totally wrong.
