The team is pretty small, so dedicated 1 on 1 mentoring time is probably
not something we can do. That's not to discourage you from getting
involved, we *LOVE* contributors, and I think the best way to contribute is
to take a look at some of the open tickets and file a pull request on
Github. That way the team can review the code and leave feedback.

It may be easier to start looking at some of the core-* and paper-* element
repos, and looking at the issues they have open. We have lots of elements
(just go here <https://github.com/polymer> and type "core" or "paper") and
could definitely use help making those better for developers. Also, if you
find issues in the documentation, we love pull requests to fix those as
well. Every contribution helps and is greatly appreciated, so thank you in
advance!
