I am sorry if this question sounds silly - I have not been following Polymer closely in the past couple of months.
I can see there is a 0.8-preview branch which seems to be destined for becoming an official beta. It is a couple of hundred commits ahead of master but also more than a thousand commits behind. On the other hand, the blog only mentions 0.5.X releases. What is the difference? Which one should I use if i wanted to do a proof of concept project?
