IMO, 4-5 days is definitely enough time to get the basics. You'll understand general techniques and concepts.
It's the more complex design patterns that take longer. Creating a larger, complex app using components is a different mental model than we're typically use to. As Max said, it's a different beast with a lot of new tech under the hood.
