Thanks Eric. After not having much luck with Polymer, I started using Hammer.js. It does the job so well. Effortless and minimum lines of codes. It recognises pan, pinch, press, rotate, swipe, tap; all the gestures that you would need for a touch device. http://hammerjs.github.io/
