In 1.0, expressions are not supported in data binding {{}}. You'll need to
use computed property instead:
https://www.polymer-project.org/1.0/docs/migration.html#data-binding
style="display:{{displayArrow}}"
needs to be something like
style="{{computeDisplayArrow(displayArrow)}}"
