Hi, I was really inspired by Google I/O 2016 and decided to learn how to build PWAs with Polymer. I thought that I could use polymer elements like Legos to build things, but I've discovered that there is a lot of background knowledge that I'm missing (zero prior experience as a web developer). What resources would you recommend for someone like me who wants to understand the foundations that Polymer was built on in order to make cool stuff?
btw I'm exploring the codelabs and reading through the docs ( https://www.polymer-project.org/1.0/docs/devguide/feature-overview), but thought I'd reach out to see if there's a better way to accelerate my learning than just diving in and reading/coding until something works?
