Thank you everyone for your comments and suggestions about the mailing
list. I've now set up a mailing list on the VPS that provides the
Poly/ML web site. It is accessible at https://lists.polyml.org and you
can subscribe through the web site or by sending an email with Subscribe
as the subject to polyml-requ...@lists.polyml.org .
The original list archives going back to 2002 have been carried over but
not the membership list so it will be necessary to subscribe to the new
list.
The VPS does not have a lot of memory or processor power. It should be
fine for the typical use pattern but I'm a bit concerned if everyone
attempts to subscribe all at once. So could I ask people to pick a time
over the next few days and try to spread the load.
Please email me if there are any problems.
Regards,
David
