I've set up pool.ntp.org as a ping target for a worldwide service to gauge its
geographical accuracy when resolving the name. The service uses systems around
the world to ping hosts and gather several statistics and status. Here are the
results.

Unfortunately, the data is not very well presented. It would be better to have
a histogram, but all I got so far is this. Looking at the raw data, it's
comforting to know that the majority of the average response times are around
35ms, with minimums typically in the teens. There are, however, many outliers.
Many of these are not responding to the ping requests, very likely by design.
Yet, many are in the hundreds of ms. I cannot say whether this is a network
issue or a geographically inaccurate name resolution.

I'll try to process the data further in the meantime. Please, let me know if
you find this information useful or how it should be presented.

Thanks,
