David:
Well, it appears I do have an 18x (GPS 18x LVC, 5m). I'm running this
on a Debian OS (Version 2.6.26.pps001). As for the type 28, I was just
following the ntp.conf specs from:
URL: http://time.qnan.org/#results
Got any suggestions to correct this 18x device and a recommended
server/fudge config setting?
Thanks,
What I have done on the affected server is to use just the PPS signal from
the GPS 18x LVC, and rely on other sources for getting to the nearest
second. The other sources include two different GPS pucks. See:
http://www.satsignal.eu/ntp/FreeBSD-GPS-PPS.htm#gps-18x
Otherwise, you might want to revert the firmware to 3.20. Look for:
GPS18xPC_LVC_320.exe

Cheers,
David
