I'm trying to find some good monitoring tool/suite (for logging and
graphing) of these Linux ntpd stats:
- Number of requests and/or bandwidth used
- Number of active servers I'm in sync with
- Number of clients (peers)
- Resources NTP service is using (cpu,...)
- Offset, jitter,...
- ...and anything interesting about NTP
I'm pretty sure there are many good solutions, but I'd like to see your
personal favourites, as you're all having public NTP servers in the pool
and probably monitoring them. I'm looking for a web-based solution,
maybe an extension for Cacti or Nagios, or some crafted cron scripts for
rrdtool, anything will do - the nicer the graphs, the better.
