hi all.
a few weeks ago i spun up an NTP server using a droplet (VPS) with
DigitalOcean. it's $5 ($5!!!) a month for a 512MB instance with a 20GB
drive...and they use SSD so things are quite nippy. i chose debian 64
bit and it's all yours to do what you like to with full SSH access. you
can see that it's running rather well here

just thought i'd mention it if anyone was thinking about starting
another server which is hosted in another region or whatever. mine lives
in the netherlands.
if you'd like to give it a go then have a gander here...no contracts and
they're pay as you go...
