Take a look at adjtimex - for more than just idle curiosity. :)
I did. And found that adjtimex seems to be Linux specific. My computer runs OS
X 10.10, not Linux.
OS X is kinda like BSD, which is I believe where adjtime() originally
came from. Try this:
