I have just realised that I encountered the Destroy/Delete distinction in the context of documentation on the Ctwm window manager and jumped to the conclusion that the same terminology is used by motif, or the pop11 interface to motif.
I had no basis for that conclusion, so it may be the case that even if the distinction (delete=remove window from display, destroy=kill the whole process) is used by motif, the terminology may be different and the same applies to poplog code interfacing to motif. So even if the distinction between the two concepts is the key to poplog motif problems, searching for those two keywords in the poplog code may not identify what needs to be changed... alas! Does anyone know if this terminology is also used by motif? Aaron
