This morning I noticed my Yahoo accounts were working better for me.  

I wonder...noting that no others besides you and I were having trouble 
with Yahoo accounts, I configure most of my Yahoo accounts to the IP of 
the pop3 server rather than the name server.  Do you do the same?  Also 
I wonder if there is a connection with us both being in Texas.  I doubt 
that, though.

Yahoo has several mail exchangers.  Sometimes some go down for 
maintenance while other servers are running fine.  That could explain 
why some accounts were working while some were not.
