This would bring about an interesting question to our members who make
such use of multiple e-mail accounts, I should think. :-)

Do any of our members use e-mail monitoring software separate and apart
from your regular e-mail client? In effect, I do not. Although my
email client makes regular and automatic checks to my ISP account, the
checking of all the other email accounts I have are fairly irregular.
I check those accounts when I am ready, rather than an automatic, timed
access. Yet I do want to periodical access the many accounts I have
because I believe you keep them active by popping them, even when they
have no mail.

There are actually several email utilities designed to monitor multiple
email accounts and notify you if any of them have email. Many of the
modern email clients can do something along these lines or close to
that, as well.

So then do you use them? If yes, then why? If no, then why not? :-)
