Another great bit of CP is that mail filters act immediately on mail that enters the
system. This is different than most mail filters which are coded into the webmail
client and not into the system itself. They don't run until and unless the mail
client is run.
You can even chain a series of forwarding filters to make a little mail list -- a
useful feature for an address that you want a few people to watch. And if the
forwarding address and the POP3 enabled address are both CP, the mail goes fast.
And as to spam, CP does a very nice job of spam filtering for their customers --
though it doesn't surprise me that they aren't fast in limiting the addresses of those
who spam. Spammers can always get another address -- shouldn't they be mostly
controlled by filtering?
