I just now applied for an account at the free-hosting.lt site.  They 
say it will take 24 hours to get the email account ready. 

I am a little suspicious of this site.  They were using an expletive on 
their home page in the same manner as malicious hackers tend to use bad 
language for shock purposes.  This is not your usual e-commerce type of 
site. :-) 

So I guess I'll have to wait on this one to answer your question.

I had the same experience as you.  I did get it to pop, but after 
trying about 8 different combinations, I could not get the smtp to 
relay.
