Hi all, just found out about a new popper in town.
It's called Blue Frog Internet, and they're a free ISP serving New York
state ONLY. However, they encourage you to sign up just for email if
you're outside their dial-up area.
The URL is http://www.bluefrognet.net
The POP3 is incoming.bluefrognet.net
The SMTP is outgoing.bluefrognet.net
You address would be [EMAIL PROTECTED]
I don't know if they do any sort of restriction on SMTP yet...
DOWNSIDE:
They want to market to you. When you sign up, you have to select 5
"interest" categories, and they say they'll send you "stuff you'd be
interested in". They also want to send you surveys... Of course, there
are mail filters <g>
