Hi all,
Sometimes things just vary in e-mail clients - having just signed up for
"Laposte.net", I found that it wouldn't send, using The Bat, unless the
RFC 2554 authentication was used. When I set it up in Calypso (my
principle e-mail programme), using authentication returned the error:
"this server does not support authentication".
When I adjusted the configuration accordingly (to no authentication), it
worked exactly as it should. Go figure.
