I don't mean to 'set the cat among pigeons' (well, perhaps just a little
;>) but this fall one of the listers concluded that this particular list
left something to be desired. Before departing he posted an extensive
list of European poppers and no one has said a 'dickie bird' about any of
them. Perhaps enough time has lapsed to raise this topic?
Not wishing to look a gift horse in the mouth (gosh, I'm just brimming
with stale phrases this morning) I had a go at the first one on his list,
"suisse.ch". I've had it up and running now for over a month and it has
been remarkably reliable - thereby reinforcing all one's stereotypical
thoughts about the Swiss.
I did have difficulty setting it up at first until I went back and
rechecked the disgruntled lister's posting;
pop and smtp are: mail1.economy.net
I don't know if it's a pop before send setup because my e-mail client
("Calypso") does a poll every 15 minutes and I have had no trouble
sending with the configuration of
"Authentication Method: None"
