Making comments on the current state of poppers being discussed... I gave up on Gopinoy and chunked all my accounts. I got tired of waiting for those to get fixed. Runbox has been iffy for me. Sometimes I can't access it my POP3 and other times I can't send. I get the idea they are having growing pains and their servers cannot meet the demands of all the new signups. I note that often when I fail to get a message out on through it's SMTP, it is because the servers are over capacity. So runbox may be small potatoes as free pop3 servers go. Sagesite.utmb.edu has also been strange of late. Sometimes I have trouble sending or receiving mail for my sagesite accounts, but not always. Like runbox, it has been inconsistent. I recently signed up for a new sagesite account and that darn thing has never worked for me as a pop3 account. And when I login on the web for that new account, and then try to access mail on the web, it tells me that the "POP" server is not working. So something just is not right at sagesite and that's a shame. It was working so well. :-) Alan
