Thanks, Alan! Your information is exactly what I looked for. > Of late, both MailandNews and Operamail have been working fairly > credible. This is always subject to change. If you desire your > mail forwarded, the service will forward and then delete your message. http://mail.ru offers those options (and more), but the web-site is in Russian. OK for me, but not for most future users of the script. > You can configure your e-mail account to leave pop3 mail on the server > till so many days have passed. My script will delete processed letter via POP3. But it would be convenient for users to be sure that sent by them letters already arrived to POP3 account before invoking the script (by sending of a letter to a web-mail server). Receiving of a letter forwarded back from a POP3+forwarding service is a good evidence that the letter already arrived and is accessible for the script. > As we have mentioned many times on our POP3 list, these free remote > services are always flawed in one respect or another. It's just that frequent long down periods annoy, delay and require manual resends. > > Accounts setup will be done by many users of a free remote CGI script > > I'm writing Only accmailers-only will be users. > This I would like to see when you are done. :-) OK, I'll post to this list as well as to ACCMAIL.
